TESTING TIME...

I needed this to check after so long time! hehehe....So many friends have asked me this question time & again "what is there inside the head / mind of Pink?" See it is JUST PURPLE everywhere !!!

Your Brain is Purple
Of all the brain types, yours is the most idealistic.
You tend to think wild, amazing thoughts. Your dreams and fantasies are intense.
Your thoughts are creative, inventive, and without boundaries.

You tend to spend a lot of time thinking of fictional people and places - or a very different life for yourself.
Many of my friends here online knew already about my SILLY & BAD habit of late sleeping...some call me "Owl", & some call me "Insomniac" ...and sorry to say, but they are right... Reason they knew but now add one more ... the above test is RIGHT... thinking & thinking &.... OK OK, there is urgent need to improve here...
You Sometimes Don't Get Enough Sleep
You're often more tired than you'd like, and you're probably not getting enough quality sleep.
Sleeping a little more could make you a lot more energetic and happy.
Try having a bedtime, keep your bedroom cool, and only eat fruit before bed.
AH , I am happy most of the time... But want to do something more concrete...which even I don't know now this moment...
You Are Pretty Happy
You generally have a happy, fulfilling life.
But things could be a little better, and deep down, you know it.
Maybe you need more supportive friends or a more challenging career.
Something is preventing you from being totally happy. You just need to figure out what it is!
after being an insomniac, I am NOT even suitable to fit in "healthy" category, but thought let us see how much improvement is needed here too.... this is not so bad uh?
You Are 52% Healthy
Your diet is healthier than the average American diet - but that's not saying much!
You already know what's good for you. Just eat more of it.
NOW your turn... what do you say? .....I am waiting to see your results....

Tom & Jerry is my all time favorite...
SILLY CHILDHOOD / YOUTH...

I love my childhood so much that I still get tempted to do what I used to do when I was a child… like playing hide & seek, scaring people by hiding & making sudden & loud noise and secretly tickling with a thread in the ear …& so on…LOL when I was reading Nicholas & Nemo’s ART SUNDAY blogs I got very emotional about those beautiful & mostly SILLY childhood memories… hehehe. I believe that we all have a naughty child inside us…and some time or the other (but in my case more often…HEHEHE) that DOES come out thru’ our activities… Today I want to create a TAG, which will be dedicated to my silly childhood & youth memories… I wish & hope more and more friends of mine will copy the questions of this TAG & POST IT AS A BLOG WITH THEIR ANSWERS & LEAVE A LINK HERE IN COMMENT SECTION SO THAT I CAN POST THAT LINK IN THE BLOG OF MY ANSWERS…

You can apply these questions to your school days and / or college days, doesn't matter because I think we must have done more silliness in college...? hahaha

  • Have you ever been punished or scolded in the school for a) chatting b) laughing c) munching some snack or food or d) any other reason? How?
  • Have you ever cheated your friend in a game or trading the things (getting things, which you liked by giving your thing, which others liked to have) with him or her?
  • Have you ever done something wrong but luckily escaped & your friend or sibling got punished for it?
  • What were your favorite games those days?
  • Have you ever been confessed about your love OR anybody had confessed his/her love for you?
  • Tell little about your Childhood ( Or college days ) crush…!
  • SAD Moment when you were in school or college…
  • Most embarrassing moment (just tell one…LOL)
  • HAPPIEST MOMENT (must be many but tell minimum one)
  • Weird thing you had done in school? Or even in college?

NOW about my answers, I will post them when I will get at least 5 volunteer’s TAG entries to post in my answer’s blog! Hehehe…I have more than 35 friends so 5 is very very low expectation of mine isn’t it? EVEN FRIENDS OF FRIENDS are welcome here....and if nobody is interested in this then FORGET this BLOG So do you want to COME & SHARE YOUR CHILDHOOD or YOUTH MEMORIES WITH US to re-live & to really ENJOY your SILLINESS this time with all of us… ?

( NO it is NOT face painting, it is playing HOLI...
This picture made me laugh so thought
it will do the same for you too...)
ART SUNDAY

HOLI

Though I thought I will not be able to post ART SUNDAY blog, but I have to sacrifice my sleep again and after coming home from the party late night, I am writing this HOLI blog for all of you as I have recorded holi dance at our party too… by sitting in third row from the stage and you can see the heads of Mr. CHAIRMAN & Mr Chief Finance Officer in the movie too… LOL as they were sitting at front row. When Chairman will move his head you can see ORIGINAL singer & musician sitting at the right side of the video ( in front of stage)

Holi is the celebration of the color of spring in Northern India, following the wheat harvest. It comes during the month of Phagun (February-March). People are in their gayest of spirits and celebrate Holi all day by throwing colored water and colored powders at each other. The colored water is squirted during the morning with a device called "pichkari " while the colored powders, called Gulal, are smeared on people in the evening. Sweets are distributed to children and relatives visit during Holi with exchange of sweets.

In the previous night, before the day of Holi, people in the neighborhood light bon fires, called Holikas, on the cross roads. It is often a community celebration and people do pujan (worship) of goddess Holika prior to lighting the bon fire.

Bon fires date back to the days of Hiranyakashipu, when he ordered his son Prahlad, a devotee of Lord Vishnu, to be burnt alive; because Hiranyakashipu hated Lord Vishnu. Hiranyakashipu asked his sister Holika to wear the magic cloth that would not catch fire and hold Prahlad tightly on her lap so that he would die in the flames and she would not be hurt. Holika could not bear to kill the child. So she quietly transferred the magic clothes onto Prahlad and got burnt herself, thus saving Prahlad. Holika attained heaven for her pious act.

The ashes of the bone fire is streaked on the forehead of people to bring good luck in the year ahead. In front of the bon fire the neighborhood stars may have songs and dances for fun. Children roast green gram, potato and other things in the bon fire for their picnic. The bon fire may be left in its place for several days and then cleaned out.

The colorful festival of Holi is closely associated with Lord Krishna, who in his young age played and frolicked with his band of cowherds and maidens (the Gopis) of the village in the hamlets of Bridavan, Gokul and Barsana. Lord Krishna played Holi with so much gusto that even today the songs sung during Holi are full of the pranks that he played on the Gopis, especially his childhood sweet heart Radhika, who lived in Barsana.

Krishna's romantic tales are also remembered during the time of Holi. Krishna grew up into a handsome young man, entrancing everyone with the magic of his flute which he used to call back lost cattle and cowherds alike. The milkmaids all fell hopelessly in love with him and realized that he was blessed by Vishnu.

Krishna knew their love for him and often teased them. One day as the young girls bathed in the river, Krishna stole their clothes and took them up into a nearby tree. When the girls looked around, they saw Krishna in the tree dressed in saffron robes, his head and neck covered with garlands and with the blue skin of Vishnu himself. The girls realized that he was indeed the embodiment of Vishnu and, ashamed of their nakedness, they crouched down into the water. However, Krishna spoke to them gently. "Clothes matter little in the other life," he said. "Your nakedness is merely a sign of your closeness to me. A child is not ashamed before its father or a wife before her husband. So come one by one and take your clothes from me. While you are in this world, you need to cover yourselves for this is the world of material things where appearance and customs matter."

When they had dressed themselves again, Krishna promised each of the girls that he would dance with them on the night of the full moon. Overjoyed, they all returned home to their husbands. From the philosophical point of view, love is divine. The playful frolics between Radha and Krishna and their eternal love, are remembered on the day of Holi by throwing colors between friends and relations. We all would like to share that divine love, even momentarily, during the day of the festivity, amidst the limitations of our earthly surround.

This above story is taken from the website which was telling about Holi details... So DON'T misunderstand me... I don't know much about mythology subject of ANY religion...

If you ask me, Do I like this festival? Then I will say NOOOOOOOO…!!! LOL …Though I enjoyed this festival when I was kid, but now I scare to get dirty… :P why? Just check the pictures at this site. Plus, one more reason, boys or men DO enjoy this festival more as they get chance to flirt with any girl or woman…LOL & that I DON’T like, so I don't play with colors & water...:)

SONG SATURDAY

Yeah, this is early entry of Song Saturday for two reasons... One I am going out for this weekend ( there is a party also on Saturday night ( same day we have "HOLI" festival too ) at five star hotel, in Mumbai called Maurya Shereton, where company's all "bosses" are invited with their families for the dinner... yoohoo...!!! Now second reason is I wanted to tell my new friend "Yanni" ( sorry for using short form of your name :P ) about this song. So Yanni here it is ----

Film : VERY HIT FILM OF year 2004 or 2005? I think, ( not sure, but it must be 2004 year!) The very FIRST movie of the powerful & talented actor HRITIK ROSHAN ! Guys he is the best in acting, dancing and in his dedication towards his profession...!!! He can be HERO of all those ill ( sort of) people who have problem of getting stuck or delayed while talking ( "Stammering?") I am sorry I don't remember the exact medical term for this but it needs speech therapy treatments ... So this boy had that when he was a child and in school, other boys & people used to laugh at him when he used to talk like that... But see now he is Bollywood's TOP ranking hero! He has become a father of a cute boy called HREHAAN in 2006! So this is his first launching movie made by his father called Rakesh Roshan, an actor himself as well as writer, director & producer... all in one! Music is given by UNCLE ( Rakesh Roshan's brother) Rajesh Roshan, another talented man in the family ... YOU KNOW WHY ALL ARE TALENTED IN THIS FAMILY? Because they all belong to ROSHAN'S family A GREAT MUSIC DIRECTOR of oldies... AH, I LOVE ALMOST ALL SONGS COMPOSED BY GRANDFATHER OF HRITIK ROSHAN CALLED Music Director ROSHAN!

Great family history...right? If there would have been MBA as major subject "Film Industry - ( including movies, music & families) then I would have scored very high hehehe BUT, BUT I salute PINA , my new Italian friend, staying in Australia I think... for the knowledge she has about bollywood movies... Guys hats off to her, even I don't have that much... !!!

Coming straight to the point --

Film - Kaho na Pyar Hain, Actor - Hritik Roshan, Actress - Ameesha ( Gold medalist from London School of Economist from UK, a NRI girl, this is also her first movie as leading lady!) Director, Producer - Rakesh Roshan, Music Director - Rajesh Roshan, SINGER - Lucky Ali and CHOREOGRAPHY is done by very hardworking girl called - FARAH KHAN. Enjoy this video, as it is one of my favorites too !

NOTE : His latest films KRISH & DHOOM 2 are doing great... and HE HAS GOT FILMFARE'S BEST ACTOR'S AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2006 for the film DHOOM - 2 ! ( a kinda, oscar of bollywood...:), it was broadcasted on TV a day before your OSCAR awards!) One more thing, A KISSING SCENE of him & Aishwarya Rai in DHOOM-2 had made "hungama" by media... as she is getting married to Abhishek Bachchan. Yep, that was Aishwarya's FIRST KISSING SCENE in her entire FILM-CAREER...:p ( point to be noted down NICK! just kidding )
