360 ZOO DAY & MULTIPLY ZOO DAY

LAST YEAR, my friend EMY & I had asked everybody to join us and celebrate 360 ZOO Day last year on 13th and 14th NOV ( as per your country time. For me it was 14th Nov, and for Emy it was 13th Nov.)

Those are new here at 360 and not aware of this, then please CHANGE YOUR PROFILE PICTURES ONLY FOR TWO DAYS 13TH & 14TH NOV as any ANIMAL OR BIRD to have another 360 Zoo Day this year too.

MORE CLARIFICATION FROM EMY'S BLOG ---

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about......last year we designated November 13th as ZOO DAY. We asked that everyone change their avatar to their favorite animal, post a blog about why they chose that particular creature - post a blog comment or quick comment on our pages to let us know they were participating.

And of course, then you can visit all the other animal avatars you see - I met a lot of new bloggers and learned some new things last year - it was great fun.

Since so many folks have moved over to Multiply - I'll post the same request there as well.........and I hope to see your "animal side" on Tuesday :).

SO FRIENDS, tell all your friends and their friends too to join us and celebrate another 360 ZOO DAY this year too ON 13th NOV ( for US, UK & Western countries ) and 14th NOV ( for Australia and Asian countries). TRY TO VISIT MORE AND MORE ANIMALS that day and have fun!!!! LOL

THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE, HUGS.

MONDAY MUSIC

Today I want to post one more romantic song for my Music Monday! I have seen this movie when I was in studying in high school because when it was released I was 4 years old...... hehehe. As you know I love Hindi Oldies, I still search you tube for old Hindi songs and try to post it here. So I found this one today. The Film is Neel Kamal. ( Blue Lotus) It is story of a girl's re-birth and her lover of previous birth. Two heros and a heroine. Heros are Late. Rajkumar, who is singing here & Manojkumar and Actress is Waheeda Rahman. Now I find this video little funny.... But I LOVE SONG....Lyrics and music of it...

Sleepwalker ( i.e. walking in the sleep LOL) Sita (Waheeda Rehman) is rescued by Ram (Manoj Kumar) while walking on a railway track. Shortly thereafter Guruji (David) and Mr. Raichand, Sita's father (Balraj Sahni), approach Ram's mom (Lalita Pawar) with a marriage proposal. Finding the proposal suitable both Ram and his mom agree, and as a result Ram and Sita are married. After the marriage, Sita displays very strange behaviour, like walking away during the night for long durations. This increases the suspicions of everyone in Ram's household. Ram subsequently finds out that there is a lot more to Sita's disappearance than sleepwalking, as Sita seems attracted to someone else from a previous birth. You can read more details here on the same site - NEEL KAMAL
SONG with MEANING

“RAKSHA BANDHAN”

Today I would like to tell you about a festival for BROTHER and SISTER which will be celebrated here on 28th August. You have heard about Mothers Day or Fathers Day, similarly we have BROTHER & SISTERS DAY since long long ago. I think even before Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, & it is called “RAKSHA BANDHAN”! Here Raksha means protection and Bandhan means Bond…so you can say it is a bond of protection OR a promise of protection from brother to sister.

You can read more about this festival HERE or below at wikipedia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rakhi

http://www.raksha-bandhan.com/

I still remember, while in college, most of the boys used to take compulsory holiday for this day! LOL Because who so ever girl they had tried to flirt with or teased (eve-teasing) a lot, there were more chances that same girl will tie the thread (rakhi) on their wrists and will make them brothers…and then they will have to stop flirting with her or teasing her… hahaha. I have seen many ONE-SIDED budding love stories had ended with this festival during our college days… LOL So naughty youngsters or flirt youngsters avoid going to college on this day!

Anyways here are online rakhi samples available for all Indians girls to buy & send all over the world to their brothers…and even brothers have choice to buy a nice gift for their sisters here online….

Rakhi with sweets : http://rakhi.indiangiftsportal.com/rakhi-with-sweets.html

Designer Rakhi : http://www.indiangiftsportal.com/india-shopping/occasions/raksha-bandhan/designer-rakhi/

Pearl Rakhi : http://www.indiangiftsportal.com/india-shopping/occasions/raksha-bandhan/pearl-rakhi/

And some more Rakhi as well as gifts for sisters from brothers at rediff.

This is my card for this festival…. :p

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

“Getting bored” is also a good thing…! I was feeling really bad that now a days, 360 has become a very dull place for ME at least. I have talked about this many times before that if I write blogs, I love to get response. If I don’t get it I feel boredom :P Seriously, I do try to visit my friends and comment on their pages and leave quick comments…send cards too… but I have only Emy, Efi and Nemo (on weekends specially ) quite regular at my page and few more like Joy, Jewel and Guillou07 are not so regular friends. Brian & Lestat are like meteors, they can be seen suddenly on QC & again vanishing for long long time…. They may read blogs but they have stopped commenting on blogs I think that’s why they mostly leave comments on QC….. ! :p BUT, I MUST THANK ALL OF THEM, as I am still here because of them... So thank you all of you :)

Anyways these things are not at all encouraging for me and I am losing interest here. I also don’t feel like visiting others pages now. In short, “Yahoo 360” has become very dull place for me. I was more upset because our Internet service provider had some technical faults at their end and I was not able to log in at yahoo as well as I lost many fast games of chess too! Because as you know I play 5 minutes games mostly and I used to get disconnected from game server and till the time I restart it, I used to lose the game! All things were very very irritating…. But today evening their engineer came and repaired it and I am happy that I can play chess now! Yoohooo….!! Yeah... the show must go on..... :p :))

So when I got my Internet speed back, I watched my favorite parrot again ( I have stopped counting…how many times I have watched “Einstein” Parrot, whom I have watched before on TV ( Animal Planet) also! I think you too must have seen this SMART PARROT !! If not, don’t miss this opportunity!!!

Talking Parrot - Amazing videos are here

After parrot, see who has impressed me a lot????? CHECK OUT here…..

Amazing SIX-Year-Old Singer - Funny video clips are a click away

I wish, I would have got such opportunity at so young age, now I would not have to sing in the bathroom and kitchen at least….. :p Hehehehe No probs, even everybody can’t become a bathroom singer too!!!

When I had seen "NORA Cat " first time, I was feeling that shame on you, even cat has learned to play piano and you are still thinking to learn it…Lazy “Love” :p ….hahahaha

Hey guys, I have already missed my chess so much due to Internet problem, now my Internet is working great again, I have to stop here and run to play… So see you soon hopefully….. Bye.

HAVE GREAT DAYS AHEAD….!!!

Love Your Life: 5 Simple Steps
Written by RealAge, Inc., peer-reviewed by Dr. Axel Goetz, April 2004

What really makes you happy? As new tasks and responsibilities come into your life each year, it can be easy to lose track. Whether it's the little things in life that make you smile, or the joy of working toward a life goal, focusing on your happiness each day not only will protect your emotional well-being, but also your physical health.

Follow these simple steps to rediscover your passion for life and be healthier in the process.

1. Value your daily diversions

When you're adding items to your to-do list, don't forget the good stuff. Do you look forward to reading in bed, going out to breakfast, taking long walks, listening to music, or just sitting quietly outside? Make sure some of your favorite diversions happen every day.

Not enough time to indulge? Consider crossing out the pesky items on your list that you keep saying you're going to do, but haven't gotten to in over a year, like alphabetizing your bills or organizing your sock drawer. Or, cross out a bigger item that is consuming much of your time but isn't enhancing your life.

2. Build your strength and independence
We all have low-energy days, but if you can resist the urge to skip your daily workout, you'll be rewarded both now and later. Try telling yourself that you need to do only 10 minutes of exercise. Once you're up and moving, it's likely that you'll want to finish your workout. Even if you can't push past the 10-minute mark on bad days, you can feel good about doing at least a little something. Sticking with an exercise plan will help you feel good about yourself, and also strengthen your immune system and enhance your body's production of mood-boosting hormones. Keep a notebook with short summaries of how you feel after really good workouts. Refer to these notes when you need inspiration.

3. Squash your stressors
Don't let stress sap you of joy. Diffuse daily hassles by practicing stress-reduction strategies. Try taking little deep-breathing breaks throughout the day, inhaling through your nose and then exhaling slowly through your mouth. Repeating this action 3 or 4 times allows more oxygen to get into your blood stream, resulting in a greater feeling of calm.

In addition to controlled breathing techniques, progressive muscle relaxation, yoga, and massage all have been documented as effective means of reducing tension, stress, depression, and anxiety. Taking a brisk 10-minute walk will do far more to dissipate your stress and lift your spirits than eating the sugary and salty snacks you might crave when you're feeling frantic.

4. Celebrate and share your skills
Thumb through the local newspaper or phone book and identify a school, club, or organization with whom you'd like to volunteer or participate. Not only will sharing your unique talents and expertise benefit others, but also research shows that volunteering can improve your well-being. Feeling engaged and involved in your local community is good for your emotional health. It's also an opportunity to learn some new skills, which can help keep your mind sharp.

5. Appreciate the people around you
Unwind and share a few laughs with your family or friends at least once or twice each month. The openness and trust you share with these important people can help give you the perspective you need to cope with everyday challenges. These regular connections also will have a positive impact on your health, especially when you share a good laugh. Laughing lowers blood pressure and releases endorphins that can ease pain. Also, don't neglect relationships at work. Colleagues and co-workers can provide valuable support and keep your blood pressure under control during stressful situations.

Feeling satisfied and fulfilled with your life is an essential part of your emotional and physical well-being. As you grow to appreciate your time, your independence, your self-assurance, your skills, and your relationships, you will be amazed at just how good you feel, both in body and spirit.

NOTE : I have changed my name henceforth....Sorry for inconvenience!
