CONTINUE FROM PREVIOUS 201ST BLOG ---

Come on, this is second episode of 201^st blog. So coming straight to the point. I know I have not replied in short in my previous blog & made you “bored & sleepy” ! Sorry for that… I will try to cut it short here… Can I really do this? I myself have doubt about it…LOL

So first I will reply somewhat a sort of complain here… Yes, though I had asked everybody on my list to tell me what he or she would like to read in my 201^st blog, so I got one message like this --- “I don't know why, but most Indian/Pakistani women speak a lot. Now HOLD IT! All women speak a lot, but the abovementioned species kinda hold the record, you know. Accordingly, you will have to, I guess, trim your words a little bit.” ---- Guys, I think it’s a complaint, what do you think? Now you want to know my reaction to it, right? My reaction is very simple as I had asked you guys to send me your wishes & I got one wish like this. So I am posting it here like others. My reply to this --- When I read this, I had mixed emotions…

My first reaction was, “Hey are you serious?” Because I had NEVER expected this from that person. Then I got little angry ( I will not deny this because though I say I am speaking from hell, I am alive & BEING HUMAN BEING things hurt to me too yaar! lol) After few seconds, I found this very funny… because it is like you are selling comb in the area of bald peoples! LOLOL You are advising amateur writers to trim on words in their own writers’ field…are you crazy? hehehe…

Don’t forget, this is blogging world, people join this place for blogging I suppose, because I have joined 360 because some REASONS are behind it. One reason among those is WRITING BLOG, expressing my thoughts in words. I write much because I am able to do that, if you don’t like my writing, don’t read it… as simple as that! If you don’t like me as a person, delete me from your list or tell me to do it… I DON’T MIND AT ALL… I want to tell EVERYBODY, always remember that I AM NOT FORCING ANYBDY TO COME HERE & READ what I have written. At the same time, I DO expect, who so ever have accepted me or I accepted them as my friends, should visit to my page WHENEVER THEY GET FREE TIME & VICE VERSA. At least ONCE a month? If you can’t do that too for some reason like exams, training, busy in job, illness, going on holidays, no Broadband (Internet) connection, no electricity ( LOLOL, like me…) etc then also I don’t mind. BUT if you are here and visiting all other friends regularly except me then also I wait for some more time, visit those people & comment too still that person is NOT visiting my page & when I feel that person is NO MORE interested in my page activities then I delete them WITHOUT TELLING!!! So that I can add some other person to my list with whom I feel connected & we could enjoy our activities more by participating in each others page activities. Eeesh… I will post separately ON THIS TOPIC, because I think I NEED TO CLEAR MY STAND ON MY FRIENDS LIST POLICY FOR SURE! So if I give you freedom to wish, to comment anything on my page DOESN’T mean that you will say any stupid thing… LOLOL Next time onwards I will definitely think twice to whom I should ask & for what? Hehehe see ONE MORE GREAT LESSON TO LEARN HERE!

Second Point of message: “Sticking to the variations of the color pink in your background would do the sense of perception of many of your visitors a great favor.” ---- LOLOLOL… If people who doesn’t like to see my page in total, should stop visiting my page completely WILL BE A GREAT FAVOR FOR ME! Because I like VARIETY, I get fed up with same things around me… I can’t change others pages (though I had tried to do that because I thought person was very sad & page color was also black & dark.. I had suggested switching over to light & fresh page colors which I thought could change the mood of that sad & depressed person! But I realized my mistake that I should not say to change the colors of their pages & said SORRY for that: P) so I do changes at my page… Because I NEED CHANGE all the time, routine makes me bored very easily…so dear, I am SORRY, I like all colors & I will use ALL COLORS according to my moods. Plus I want to remind here that I HAD ASKED “WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO READ IN MY 201^ST BLOG! DAMN, I never asked about my page & blog sizes & decorations… LOLOLOL

Third point of message: “The pictures/avatars on your profile page are great. They should keep rotating.” – DAMN again, I never asked about my page backgrounds, profile pictures & blog sizes…

Forth point of message: “More of your artwork. Yeah, more of your artwork.”--- AH, This was related to my question. OK, I will try to do this & may be coming Sunday night I will try to post ART SUNDAY BLOG. So you can have a look at it.

Next message – “A photo book of your from when you were a baby through now” --- OK, open my previous page where I have posted my picture & now make your page size 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% & then zoom it…! LOLOL Oh Dear, unfortunately my Dad-Mom had not have camera at that time & they were not much in photography like me so I don’t have pictures of my childhood. Only one or two pictures are there but that too are black & white and in photo frame at parents place! So I can’t scan them now.

Hey I have a picture of mine @18 years old! I had to submit my picture to the college magazine where I had got first prize for poem writing! I have written more than 300 poems all together by a nick name, which means SIMILAR ( Not exactly) to “FLAME” or LAMP OR CANDLE or light may be. So I took candle & matchbox with me to photo studio & asked photographer to click my picture as I want! See that above picture… LOL By posting this picture I have satisfied many demands of my complete picture especially with eyes! Hehehe. Guys do you know, “the tears in an eye & burning candle” or “Candle with only smoke and the tears in an eye” was a kind of logo for my poems! LOLOL I will post few sample pictures of my old diary of poems & my own illustrations with the poems from way back to 1980-1990! Plus whenever I will get those few pics of my childhood I will try to scan it. But if you ask me to put my son’s pics from childhood I can do that…Because I have clicked his all kinds of pictures, even though we were not having digital camera that time!

“A retrospective of what your first year has been like and meant to you” ---- Already posted in previous blog. YES, IT MEANS A LOT TO ME ! Because I feel I have improved on every level – “Mental” (NA, NOT CRAZY hehehe mental level means educational or like level of gaining various kinds of knowledge) , “Emotional” ( I swear, I have become more strong watching many divorced people here, that how they are fighting with all odds & surviving well is really amazing & now I dare to say, even I can survive if in future ( God forbid) I have to face such things in my life too… Bravo to them all…I wish all the happiness & good luck to them.) as well as “Physical” too LOLOL because spending 8 hours a day in front of pc gained me whooping 10 kgs or more in weight! :P

“List of top mysteries about pink” --- Eeesh... Mysteries are not to tell all…wink. LOL Still I have revealed few things first time here READ again “A photo book of your from when you were a baby through now”!

“Leak the long rumored "sex tape" and "photo shoot" from your 20's” --- GOSH… I never expected such message! Have I ever claimed that I am a Paris Hilton? LOLOL. (Now don’t look at me like that, I said this because I have read in our newspapers that people post her sex videos on net and some magazine wanted to give lots of money to reveal the pictures & incidents of her earlier sex life! BTW, I am NOT sure about this news & I am not even interested to check the truth about this news too!) hehehe

“Post about your Music” – I would LOVE to do this… But since this blog has become quite a big I will post a separate blog for music! I promise that… I am ashamed of saying this all the time but it is my helplessness what to do, but I still don’t have Broadband connection and mobile modem takes hours to open You Tube video. Still I just read about it’s description & post it without watching it. Same thing I will do in future too till I get broadband! So dear I will post it very soon. Let me finish all messages.

Since I don’t have broadband yet, it’s easy to copy & paste my old blogs to repost them… Hubby dear also will not complain about this as it will save his mobile bill which I am using for Internet! LOLOL So I will definitely try this too because lots of people are new on my list of friends! Thanks for this.

Advertising & Online Shopping ...LOL

I have heard many funny things about online purchasing here. Like someone has ordered a mixer-grinder and paid money in advance and later found that parcel is containing nothing but packing materials only…. I have not ordered such things by post or purchased any home appliances online yet…but I have some other funny incidents to share with you!

You must have seen such banners many times, but ask me, how lucky I am?!! Now days I am feeling like I am the ONLY 999,999^th visitor of EVERY SITE I click to surf!!! Really whether I try to open a greeting card site, this will appear, then some jokes site, pictures site, music sites, free software sites as if not enough, even some medical information sites too are waiting for my mouse to click & this banner will suddenly come from any corner of the page & I will get scared…yeah, I have literally spilled my tea on my keyboard once… Eeesh, I never knew that I am such a lucky person in the world or is it having some kind of connection with my birth date? Because it is coincidently 9^th (Dec) !! But now I feel that 9 number is going to be with me everywhere I go just like Hutch dog! (If you have seen or heard about advertisement of Hutch’s GSM connection – mobile network… they show a small boy followed by a small PUG dog. Don’t tell anybody … that when first time in my life I had seen this banner, I had clicked on that and did not know how many links I had clicked after that & must have filled various forms & various details…and then waited for many days. But… Alas! Nothing came to me as “prize” L LOL Then after few months (may be 5 years before) I was searching some home based work using internet and found many sites where I learned about these banners & their “click income”! Means who so ever has made that advertise banner & posted it on website, will get 20 cents or more for one click. In this way one can earn $500 to $1500 per week too that too sitting at home & working in your free time… But I never tried this, as I was not sure about others that they can be stupid like me to click on such banners!! LOL there was one more reason for this… When I was searching home-based job, I had found some letter-posting job. For that I had to pay US $ 100, then I will get envelops with address stickers & marketing letters by courier. I have to put address stickers on envelops & fold that marketing letter & put it in each envelope & finally put them in our post box and for this work I will get one dollar or half dollar per envelope or something and if any one contacts ( out of these letters) to the company and asks for / gets their services or product (whatever mentioned in that marketing letter) then I will get additional $30… I thought this is quite good offer so I did purchase this home based job by paying $100 online because at that time they did not have mentioned in their scheme that I have to put postage stamps worth half dollar approx on each letter from my pocket! LOLOL so those envelops & stickers & letters were still with me even after 5 years at my old house when I saw it last time say few months before.

Since this incident, I never believed on such home-based job opportunities online here! See I don’t know about other schemes like this CLICK BANNER earnings though I have read about it many times but I can’t believe anymore on such work because I had a bad experience & all companies are from USA and I can’t go to their office and ask my money back if they try to cheat me! So it is best not to try for it again. May be some day I will be in position to waste few bucks on such schemes again but only for the companies having offices here and not any abroad based company. Because we have a saying here – “Nobody will taste poison to see whether it works or not!” But now I think their envelope idea was quite interesting. Because if they will send the letters to them directly, then they may throw it to dustbin but if one will see he/she has got a mail from such a far away country & if they are curious like me then he/she will get surprised & open it and read all that out of curiosity at least! Hehehe It’s a kind of marketing, using the basic quality of human being called curiosity!! Same about these banners…but I am still curious, that how many people will seriously ask for their products & services? May be here we don’t purchase many things online & still believe or prefer to touch the things & see them; taste them personally before buying it. So we can’t easily trust on such online products! When things will start changing like here people have started purchasing tickets online for travel or cinema…then may be soon people will start purchasing the things, services or other products online! Till then HAPPY FRIDAY…WOOOHOOO!!!

(NEED SPECIAL SURGEONS FOR SPECIAL NOSE SURGERY! )

“SENSE OF HUMOR”

That above pic & below it, that heading is for my best friend here…can't disclose the name... but I want to discuss something related to humor… Don’t get shocked but hey guys I am little serious today….( I know its difficult to believe… Even I am trying hard to look serious…) I am observing that very few people understand me & my humor better ! More people look at me as if I am not writing blog but doing some crime! I agree I don’t know much about others culture or country, which I am trying to learn! Whenever I get any kind of information I immediately share it with my buddies so that they can tell me the truth or correct my information or update my knowledge… Is there anything wrong in this? I am NOT claiming that our culture is good & yours is bad… There are MANY things in our culture, which are bad, which people of my country are trying to change…and yes things are changing here so fast… See I am not even ashamed of my ignorance about the rest of the world as well as in admitting that I have not visited each & every part of my own country! So whatever I write about my country & culture is totally based on observation of my surroundings and based on my knowledge which I have got thru’ television & newspapers! SO IT WILL NEVER BE 100% CORRECT ! Even interpretation of language (even if it is common language as an English here ) will change the meaning of it!

As you all know, that I always say my English is not so good as it is not my mother tongue… (But it is also true that after reading blogs of some pure English people here I DO feel that my English is NOT SO BAD! ) so whenever you have some doubts about my English do ask me but don’t say that why are you saying this & that…? Yaar, expressing my thoughts & myself & sharing my knowledge & correcting myself, learning new things and improving myself through my BLOGS is MY RIGHT isn’t it? (Oops here “Yaar” is Hindi word meaning is friend.) OK I am even ready to accept that my sense of humor is little weird???!!! But that is ME!!!!! ACCEPT ME OR LEAVE ME…but I love to pull legs, pranks etc… but ALL I DO IN FUN…NEVER IN SARCASTIC SENSE OR WITH ANY BAD INTENSIONS…Because I can’t hurt anyone like that… I am very sensitive person. I will NEVER do that. Even if anyone hurts me I complain about it to same person first that too in mail. So never doubt about my jokes or funny things that I am targeting any person or bitching about anyone here…NO, I HATE THAT…

So remember always that “WORDS ARE MERE VEHICLES THEY JUST PASS THE MESSAGES – FAIR OR FOUL TAKE AS YOU LIKE!” But don’t blame me that I am saying like that…. If you do not understand my message it is your understanding, you can’t blame me for that! Because many times my humor has been misunderstood…. Even sense of humor has different culture & different shades & levels …some like clean jokes, some like only adult jokes, some like Black Lewis, some like J. Leno (?) Not sure about his name , some like situational or practical jokes …different peoples different tastes… Even different countries have different sense of humor… I hope you understand what I mean to say… So be sure, I love to laugh & make others laugh while discussing serious things too (I can’t change myself guys… ) and my serious blogs are never any kind of personal attack even if I am joking while writing it. I joke or laugh always that doesn’t mean that I am not respecting peoples & their feelings & their culture & their countries…This is what I wanted to tell you all… I hope you have got my message loud & clear! (Eeesh finishing here itself because I can’t keep my face serious for long time… )

THE "EX" FACTOR!!!

If I will not blog like before I am going to burst now…! LOL This is height of promises that I am going to get broadband connection in coming week… Waiting for their “coming week”, I did not even realize that year 2006 is also passed ! Today I am using the same my mobile modem connection. Anyways yesterday I was reading old joke book and found this joke --- Wife to her husband – "Dear, Come fast, my children & your children together are beating our children!!! " LOL and I thought this would be the scene of every house in coming years if people will not take the matter of “EX ” seriously!

I am not making fun of anybody who has gone thru’ such situations called divorce. I know, nobody wants to break his/her own marriage or family. I don’t even claim that I can feel their pain exactly, though I have friends here online & I try understanding the pain of their broken relationships. So I will ONCE AGAIN try to discuss this issue of “divorce” with you all, without any intention of hurting anyone or making fun of anyone here, whether they are on my list or not. But as you know me, I like to keep issues light so I do joke about them, whether it is related to anybody, or me. So don’t mind my weird sense of humor! I have habit of finding fun out of everything…LOL

Here I want to confess that I do get surprised many times that the way folks discuss about their Ex & Ex of Ex…& Ex of Ex of Ex… I get confused and even shocked because I feel like those people feel very proud to announce that they are having lines of Ex in their life! Sometimes I feel they don’t even bother about the word divorce! One of my 360 friends who is not on my list now! Can I call him Ex-360 friend? Because I have started feeling very neglected personality here for NOT having ANY “EX” factor in my life…So I don’t want to have that “Ex -inferiority complex” LOLOLOL (Of course kidding!)

BTW, that Ex-360 friend is an American, very well educated & having decent job too. But at present cursing himself for his 2 or 4 years of marriage with his 2 years of girlfriend. Now because of her, he has become a bankrupt & he is paying loan installments of lawyer as well as sort of her alimony! For this he has to do even overtime also!! He has told me very shocking thing about American marriage scenario! He told that he would never marry in America again, where marriage is a kind of Business. If you are not married with equal status girl or boy means you have made a great mistake! Because almost everybody is GREEDY here and tries to get 50% money, home etc from the rich partner. Means if a boy is earning more than a girl then girl will take divorce to get his money & home too or vice versa. That’s why here percentage of divorce is more! I was shocked to know this! Till this up gradation of my knowledge about American weddings, I used to feel very bad about every divorce, but now I have started feeling that who knows what was the real reason behind those all divorces I heard here on 360? I know some must be very genuine cases but still I can’t forget those words of my friend now.

I think if this is going on in America since many years, then naturally the kids of broken marriages are used to witness all these things in their early life. This may be leading them to follow their parent’s footsteps and do the same in their life too! Their tolerance capacity will also be less than their parents & nobody will be surprised to see the list of “Ex” before their names too… who knows, in future it will become the prestigious sign…? Oh, oh, that’s why I have seen many blogs where guys talk very badly about their parents & partners. I used to feel bad & sometimes even hurt (? hurt uh? Yes!) that how can a child talk so badly about own parents? Is having respect for elders and especially parents an OUTDATED and Stupid thing in western culture? I know my blog may hurt many today; some may delete me from their list too but what I learned from one of my 360 friends, I wanted to share with you, so that I can get clear picture & truth about this topic.

I will not say that in my country divorces don’t happen, they do, but may be % of it will be less than western countries. Reasons will be 99% different than this! But I strongly feel that there are few BASIC points, which differentiate the things very prominently!

1. Cultural difference of East & West: Though our new generation is fast picking up western culture here still we have joint family culture as well as nuclear family culture, where our kids stay with parents till they finish their education, get job & get marry - generally after the age of 22 + years! Till this age, they grow up under guidance & supervision of parents. Here parents role is very very important of shaping their kids future & keeping them away from all sorts of bad things like drinking, smoking, drugs, womanizing etc!

2. Male Dominant Society: We still have male dominant society where people are least bothered about son’s mistakes. But if a girl commits any mistake (like having sex before marriage or eloping with a boy or even having love affair…!) the whole society take the notice of it and it becomes the issue of respect of family. But now days urban families are more open to these issues & accept the things without fuss. But this is also true that we have families in rural part of the country where girl’s family has killed the girl & boy both for having love affair! Here having love affair before marriage was / is (in some part of society / country) considered very bad & no less than a mistake / crime because since ages it is a question of prestige & honor of the family. This was / is an unwritten rule since ages that children of respectable families (specially girl) should accept the choice of parents as his / her life partner and once the girl gets marry, she should not leave her hubby’s place till death means NO divorce. Such girl is called most respectable & her family is called more respectable family here. So majority of marriages are still ARRANGED MARRIAGES. Where family of boy or girl find the suitable partner for their son / daughter. Before visiting each other’s place, the parents of both sides collect the details of each other’s families & bride & groom both. If they find it suitable then they visit each other’s place /home and if boy likes the girl by look of course then he will say yes and vice versa. If not, nobody take it in bad way & start finding other partner for their son or daughter, till the marriage gets “fixed”. Here few changes have happened in urban society, here educated families give freedom of choosing life partner to their children but marriages are still happening with the consent of elders of the family! BECAUSE in our society, we consider, “Marriage is an union not only between a boy & a girl but it is between two different families!” so getting consent of family for the marriage is equally important here.

3. Financial independence & attachment of kids: Here though girls are educated and talented but most of them prefer to stay at home & raise the family instead of going out and doing job. It is most common scene here! So even if she faces small small problems in her married life, she doesn’t think of divorce. Because she is not financially independent & being a full time mother, her attachment with her kids is more which also keeps her away from divorce! One more thing, here divorce word is still a bad word and re-marriage is little difficult. But again urban & upper class society is not having fuss about it. But I must tell here that I think tolerance & adjusting or compromising capacity of any Indian is much more than any western person irrespective of gender. Reasons may be many but this fact keeps hubby and wife together here. Indian man is a more family man & Indian woman is a more homely & sacrificing mother ! Here girls have been growing up looking at their mother, grandmother and other women of the family like aunty etc where one thing is common that they were always been treated as secondary after their father or grandfather or uncle etc…because our culture or our society is male dominant! Things have changed quite noticeable and you will find educated & urban family men are giving so much freedom to their women now! Earlier men used to take all major decisions of the family alone without even discussing it with their life partners, because if they had done that, others would have made joke of them and would have called them henpecked hubby too, which used to be a big insult for their manhood! LOL But now they discuss & even listen too to their life partners. Funny enough but such a huge change has happened in their attitudes! LOL

OH…OH… this Blog is becoming a big story…. So I have to stop here. But whenever I get time, I will tell more WRONG, funny, serious & silly things about OUR marriage system, family culture & society! Till then bye & have a great weekend. ONE LAST THING – I am feeling very sad to inform you all that I am not doing ART SUNDAYS till my broadband connection starts! -- In night? Not fixed... it fluctuates between 0- 10 hours! Seriously, it\u2019s true. Being net addict or more particularly Chess addict I had not slept whole night too\u2026 many know this\u2026 I play online chess in the night! ( Missing my chess so much!!!) But I do need minimum 8 hours sleep in 24 hours!! Which I do have if not in the night then in day time\u2026LOL

2) Who is your most 'drool worthy' celebrity?

-- Asking for ONLY one is not fair\u2026 LOL so I will say Salman Khan & Abhishek Bachchan, both are MOST eligible bachelors of our Hindi film industry!
